Dr Kleinloog received his medical degree from Maastricht University (The Netherlands) and worked as a psychiatric resident in Forensic and Intensive Psychiatry at the Academic Medical Centre in Amsterdam and in Emergency and Outpatient Psychiatry at the Leiden University Medical Centre. Dr Kleinloog has been involved in a wide range of clinical trials across a number of different therapeutic areas. He conducted his PhD research in the field of clinical psychopharmacology at the Centre for Human Drug Research in Leiden and is a registered clinical pharmacologist. Dr Kleinloog has particular expertise in human psychosis models using THC and ketamine to induce psychotomimetic symptoms in healthy volunteers.
