Software Test Analyst

P1vital Products Limited (PPL) is looking for an experienced Software Test Analyst to work on the development of our innovative software products for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors to improve the treatment of mental health conditions.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Software Test Analyst to be part of a growing multi-functional team to manage the ongoing development, deployment, maintenance and support of this and other products in the PPL pipeline.  The Software Test Analyst is responsible for writing test plans and scripts based on user requirements, executing manual tests, investigate and work with our software development team to resolve defects prior to writing test report and release documentation.

Role:

  • Develop test plans and test traceability matrix based on requirements
  • Write detailed test cases and scripts based on requirements
  • Conduct manual testing of new software features and regression testing of the wider system
  • Manage defect and product improvement resolution process
  • Write test reports prior to software release

Skills and expertise:

  • Graduate with Computer Science or equivalent degree (IIi or above) and/or a higher degree
  • At least 2 years’ experience of manual software testing, including writing detailed test cases based on software requirements specifications (required)
  • Experience of automation testing and automation test tools (desirable)
  • Experience in working with third party software vendors
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Excellent logical thinking and creative problem solving ability
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of web applications
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Web application frameworks)
  • Advanced IT skills with MS office suite
